Back to Return/Exchange Policy
You have 30 days from the date of purchase to return any items that are in resalable condition. You will receive a full refund via the same method of payment, minus shipping and handling. The Gamble House Bookstore reserves the right to determine whether an item is in resalable condition or not.
Before returning any merchandise for a refund or exchange, please email us at ghbookst@usc.edu. We will provide you with information necessary for the return or exchange.
Damaged/Defective Item: Damaged or defective merchandise should be reported to us within a week of receipt. We will arrange for the return and/or replacement of items that were received either damaged or defective. Open CD's, CD-ROMs, or DVD's will be replaced with same title only.
Non-received/Received Wrong Item: If your order was incomplete or if you received something that you did not order, please contact us immediately. We will need to know what item(s) you received in error, or what item(s) were missing from your order. We will make all necessary arrangements to correct your order.
Exchanges: If you would like to exchange any of the items that you ordered, you must contact us within 30 days from the date of purchase. Open CD's, CD-ROMs, or DVD's may not be exchanged unless defective or damaged. Shipping charges will be applied to any exchange and must be paid in full before exchanged merchandise is shipped.
Refunds: Refunds (less shipping and handling) will be issued for the full purchase price for returned merchandise provided that the merchandise is in resalable condition when it is returned and that the merchandise is returned within 30 days of the ship date on your invoice (receipt). CD's, CD-ROMs, and DVD's that are not in their original, sealed packages, are not refundable. Sale/clearance items, items marked non-returnable, and items sold "AS IS" are not refundable.
Shipping Policy
Standard Delivery
Our primary shipment method is UPS Ground. In order to accommodate Post Office Boxes, we can ship by USPS when requested. Under normal circumstances, most orders ship within 24-48 hours or the next business day if your order is placed on a weekend. Please note that we are closed on Mondays. Orders containing Gift Certificates and no other merchandise will be shipped at no charge via USPS.
Expedited Delivery
RUSH orders are generally shipped via UPS 2-Day and take 2-3 business days for delivery. UPS Next Day Air is also available. Orders using the rush delivery option that are received by noon PST, Tuesday-Friday will be shipped the same day. Orders received after 12:00pm will be shipped on the next business weekday. Please note that we are closed on Mondays.
Shipping Calculations
Shipping is calculated by the weight of your total order, the approximate size of the package, and the destination of the shipment.
Order Tracking
You will receive an email confirmation of your order that includes a tracking number. Please refer to this number for shipping date and approximate date of receipt.
Order Cancellation
You may cancel your order at any time by calling the store at 626-449-4178 or emailing us at ghbookst@usc.edu. Unfortunately, we are unable to cancel orders once they have been shipped. Please see our return policy for information on returns and exchanges.
