Considered the most scholarly volume on the Greene
brothers’ work to date, this critical monograph
tracks their careers as they develop jointly, then
separately over a twenty-five year period. Edward
R. Bosley, the James N. Gamble Director of The
Gamble House, has compiled a wealth of previously
unpublished data and archival photographs for this
book, which is also splendidly illustrated by new
full color photographs by Mark Fiennes. This book
is an excellent biographical study of Greene & Greene
which also extensively profiles the works that
elevated them to the status of legendary architects.
