  Gustav Klimt's (1862-1918) painting "The Kiss" is his most famous and has become one of the most reproduced images in art history.  Klimt was born in Austria and became a part of the Vienna Secession, a group of young artists responsible for the development of a Vienesse version of Art Nouveau.  He is considered a pioneer of the Modernist art movement.
